Only Human

I'm only human
So why am I expected to do things humans can't do
Go without sleep
Go without food
I'm exhausted and tired
Yet I have to keep going
I'm only human
Never have a second to myself
I have to push on through life
They say to take time to smell the roses
Yet the roses are all gone
And I'm working at warp speed
Must keep going before I fail
I make one wrong step
And there goes the future
I'm only human
Why is that so hard to believe
I only need a second to gather my thoughts
Just one minute to rest my eyes
I have a heart
I have a brain
I need water
And I need energy
I only need time to catch my breathe
But there is no time
No time for anything but to work work work
It's becoming to much for me
I am,
