~ ORIGINAL LIGHT ~

~ ORIGINAL LIGHT ~

Oh heart, of my own molded perceptions
I beg of thee, allow my true love its light
To bleed through all my crumbled conceptions
And to land, upon the roots of my original light
That I might reignite the flames of being a child...

Oh soul, of my innocence, might I rekindle the divine
The essence of my pre-birth, recollections, and thoughts
Where, when anything passing through my minds eye
In retrospect, was always there, as that which was sought
And taught, of that, which was preordained plot...

Oh beatific light, of impeccable presumption
How might I become that which I'm sure impossible
To take the Two Towers, to control the consumption
Of the insanity that science fiction makes plausible
With, the overall ideas, that make all of it possible...

Oh heart, of my most intuitive perceptions
I have come to know, through my insatiable lust for life
That childhood's truth, leaves a profound impression
Upon adulthood's choices, struggles, and strife
And when the enigmatic, is comprehended and applied
It brings, a magnificent bloom, to one's original light...

" The childhood's truth leaves a profound impression......."
One of your masterpieces Tony. I remember you also wrote something about paranormal that inspired me to write mine,  ' The Vortex' ....
You're like an old wine that gets better with age lol.

LOL!!.....I don't think anyone has ever made that comparison before but I like it LEAH!!......Yeah, I'd say at least 60% of all of my poetry is based in the paranormal.....it is SO relevant these days...I even wrote a blog on it for several years.......So glad to hear it inspired a poem from you.....I'll have to read "The Vortex" for myself!!.......thanx so much for sharing your thoughts and impressions dear poet sister......smiles......T xo  : )

Being Me

Hi Tony... I found this a soul searching and interesting poem. If only we all embraced our inner child and allowed ourselves to be "wonderfied" more often x

Hello Tony,
I felt that realisation when we wake up to the genius which resides within innocent eyes. The yearning to rekindle and tap back into old routes, from even our pre-birth existence on this here earth. There is a deep seeded introspective enlightenment that illuminates the readers own existence. Forcing them to take stock. A truly cleverly penned poem. Once again the bar has been set at a breathtaking height. Your pen is mighty and your mind makes for insightful reading

Your delighted to know you friend
