Our Baby Daughter

~~Our Baby Daughter
Our daughter was a tiny thing,
When first we brought her home.
Peach Fuzzy hair and tiny toes,
A wonder to behold.
A gift of Love, a gift of god
To treasure as we grow old.
At fifteen, her body grown
Her mind confused,
we wonder where we stray
She says that we don’t love her,
and she’s going to run away
Someday when she is older,
 and has a daughter too
She’ll understand the feelings,
that we are going thru.
Until that day cross over,
we wonder what to do
She’s still our baby daughter,
Just older than we knew.

Ah Ron, teenagers are so difficult to understand, you want to love them and cherish them but at times they look at you like you are the devil reincarnate.  I remember being that difficult teenager thinking that my Mum and Dad didn't understand me or have a clue.  Now I am blessed with children of my own and my teenage sons now look at me like I have just dropped down off a spaceship! How god works in mysterious ways. She will it time become a mother herself and look back on these days and smile, as I am sure you will.  Nicely penned Ron, great job:)
