β€˜Our humble buttercup’?

β€˜Our humble buttercup’?

Bountiful in the splendorous sunshine
Bright yellow buttercups all aglow
Such a glorious gift from Mother nature
that feast my enlightened eyes below

As I ramble thru the woodlands
this golden grandeur
paves my pretty pebbled pathway
Millions of minute sunny heads
A unique β€˜Candy-eye’ display

I adore the humble buttercup
an annual meadow sight
Mixed amongst poppies, bluebells & little daisies
A beautifully coloured delight
