Our NHS Angels

Our NHS Angels

Oh my God
just look at these faces
bruised black and blue from PPE cases
These are the people put on the front line
Our NHS staff that are not feeling fine
Overworked whilst underpaid
fighting a neverending unhealthy crusade

Beyond the boo hoo of discolouration
Is an expression of hearthache from seeing suffering damnation
This Corvid-19 has come into our world spreading like wildfire as infections unfurled
Not one of us is invincible
This disease does not pick and choose
as it attacks one’s immunity with it’s barbarity of blues

So alas Coronavirus is overwhelming our nation
exhausting the NHS with needy hospitalisation
Too many people are filling the floors
God help all the people behind those closed doors
Our Doctors and Nurses all wearing PPE kits fighting a battle whilst scared out of their wits

You are our Angels
Oh how we salute you
Coz without your caring skills what on earth would we do ?
But each and everyone of us who is watching from outside
We feel your pain as we applaud you with pride
God bless the lot of you in our NHS
We will be forever indebted for your unselfishness
