The Body and the Blood

Jesus in His time, told us His fate in Matthew 26 - 29

He told us His body and blood would be shed, to remember Him with wine and bread

Between God and His people the covenant it will seal

Our souls the devil can no longer steal

For the sins of many His blood was poured

How can we not love our precious Lord

Mark His words, He will not drink wine again

Until in His Father's Kingdom with you my friend

Thank you God for your Son Jesus, from eternal death He frees us

Deep in my heart I cry, that I am one of the reasons He did die

I love you Lord and one day want to share with you

In your Father's Kingdom, the wine you will drink new
