Our timelessness of hoodwinks

Threads and shreds with golden hues
Mashmallow pinks on the palest of blues
These are some of my favourite views as I look up at the morning sky
Subtle shades of dusty grey from the lightening’s electric display but this thunderstorm has gone away
melting amidst the sunshine’s fry
Clouds with random shapes and sizes cover our canopy with seaside sunrises
Our canvas of colours are always surprises from Mother Nature’s wake
We wish for warmth when the North wind doth blow as it howls and hammers and sends us snow
covering carpets of coldness below
from Winter’s shivering shake
Seasons switch as our eyelid blinks within our timelessness of hoodwinks
Leaving us aghast from baffled bethinks as the clock keeps ticking
That crazy calander on our wall of Spring, Summer, Winter and the fall
but those pages pass by on our continuous call as yesteryears future is flicking

Good stuff Jill - you just need a bit of 'nasty'
to be way beyond all of us!
