OUR VOICE
Our voice makes a difference...
Laws get passed...
Bills are put into place...
People with mental illness, there's hope...
The thought of jail feeds your fear...
You don't need jail...
Needing help should never be considered a crime...
People have heard your cry...
You need help and places are opening to give you your help...
We are your voice when you can't speak...
Let's stand together and together we are strong...
Let's stop fighting so we can all work on problems together...
Don't laugh at love...
Don't turn your back on peace...
One positive step at a time and we can change this place...

It's too bad how law enforcement and doctors have assessed and determined the fate of these people...
Many have been brutally abused, neglected and many died under the supervision of the institutions...
Some are called mental hospitals other than those who actually have been sent to jail...
To me when you put hospital in front of or behind the name of the facility it should be caring and kind people behind the doors...
Many do it for the money and not for the patient...
Doctors are in jail...
Many nurses are drug addicts and alcoholics because what they see and treat gets to them...
Many police officers are domestic abusers...
Firefighters are also affected by experiences...
When someone in the medical field doesn't have respect for themselves or others outside I sure wouldn't want them to treat me inside...
Same goes with nursing homes and any other medical or mental facility or rehabilitation...
People have gone through trauma, serious abuse, and birth defects that effects the mind...
People are selfish in many ways and never think about helping...
They usually will harm or whatever as long as it profits them in some way...
Some people don't feel right by those actions...

Much of the problems if not most of them that we are facing could have been eliminated so long ago...
I am just glad that issues are being addressed out side of just the mainstream textbook and realizing that not everyone is the same...
One step at a time, even a small change and awareness among with the right team and the person who is suffering to be the center of that team is so important...
It still takes all the right elements to make victory through the proper treatment and care...

They suffer in many ways...
Severe abuse, wrong diagnosis, and most are treated like an experimental project and the disasters that can occur when the doctors deviate or change the course of treatment especially when something is actually working and they change it...
Doctors should be held accountable when they put a patient in harm...
