In my limited understanding
Yes, my rose-colored point of view
A hole in my heart demanding
Completion, by the touch of you
Your residence, an ocean apart
Your visitations an honoring tribute
To the yearning you create in my heart
Your essence, my perfect milieu
I often revisit our face-time together
Enchantedly bathing in just we two
Lost in the rhythms of your forever
Where I'd love to stop time with you
Some mornings I awaken still dreaming
Dressed and dancing to the night's adieu
A most mystical sleep still gleaming
Through a veil so happily confused
So, as the days tumble by without you
Your presence in me grows clearer
Strengthening the fibers of what love can do
And my prayers of having you nearer
Beg me to find you in our Xanadu....
