Out Of The Shade
When existence was nothing that I had aimed for,
When dilemmas and problems were all that I saw,
When circumstances had taken such a savage toll,
Your radiance settled me bringing calm to my soul !

Life, once stark and bleak, became the playground.
Joy in living, once a mystery, was suddenly found !
You shared the fullest heart with a passionate kiss,
Letting me know what wonder there is to all of this !
................................................
You made sense of everything which I had queried,
Giving yourself so I realized love was all I needed !
You provided answers to all those questions raised.
As soon as love took hold, I stepped from the shade !
................................................
Never shall I return to stifling greyness of twilight.
With you, I learnt what it is to win the hard fight !
Blessed is a future where sunshine is ever present.
This life is now one where dreams conquer torment !
