Out with the old and in with the new

We’ve picked the wallpaper to put on our fireplace wall
Theres an archway in our living room and the chimney breast sits in the center of it all
Tartan carpet was what we both chose
And along with two pots of paint in dusty pink and fern green
Our living room will totally transpose

Wildlife with stags and deer are on the wallpaper to bring us cheer
Tartan with dusty pink and green should match this pattern yet it remains to be seen
But this room hasn’t been changed in many a moon and this transformation will be happening very soon
Personally I cannot wait for this to be done with the old decoration stripped and gone

There’s nothing like Springtime to start all anew and throw out the old what is making one blue
So all I need now is the decorator man but he said he shall come as soon as he can
My animal paper is spread out on my floor with paint pots ready behind the door
I will send you a picture when it is complete when I am sat cozied up on our spanking new suite
