‘Over the moon’ ?

I’m over the moon today
In a blissed state of ‘cloud nine’
I had an appointment at the breast clinic
My result was ‘Your absolutely fine’

The old consultant seemed 100% certain
There was not a cancerous lump
He told me my pain was hormonal
But he could not find any bump

So ‘Woohoo I’m overjoyed’
I can put those dark thoughts away
Crikey moses I am so blessed
‘What a relief I have to say’

I’ve had a week of worrying
I wasn’t sure what to think
It just goes to show 
Your life can change in just one single blink

Mind you I’ve decided superstition
Is just a load of twaddle
On my drive through to the hospital
I saw one single magpie waddle

I spotted this black & white bird
Walk right infront of me
My mind went into doom & gloom
I was as freaked out as can be

One for sorrow so they say
Well I only noticed one  
Mind you a magpie may have flew away
When all is said & done
