the weather is the heel of winter
pinned; spring crimped, with sunny days chastened
by blustery shenanigansΒ
and a recent chill, waningΒ
in the waxing
of an impoverishedΒ
sun.
gotta feedΒ
them cattle.
in theΒ
rain.
or lose a moon.
gotta be out of range
nearby.
