Paradise

Even in this paradise

With many things to look upon

Your eyes remain far more beautiful

Then even that of the sun

The shining ocean under the shimmering moon

Can never compare to the sight you

But I know we will be together again at 'dusk'

Seeing you right now wouldn't be too soon

The cooling ocean and the warm sand

Is a relaxing sensation unlike anything else

I would still prefer the touch of your hand

And the soft, sweet kiss from your lips

The wind lightly whips through my hair

In that moment I heard you whisper my name

In my mind I know you aren't there

I know you are across the ocean waiting for me

I would trade my paradise away

And return back to my frigid home

As long as I can see you today

And no longer be alone

Tomorrow I will travel back to you

Over vast seas and deserts

I will make my way back to you

And lie in your warming arms where I belong
