i am not unhinged

but a door in a mural on the wall of my mind is

pictures hang crooked

quirky avians peer upside down

welcome to my echo chamber

where your distorted world intrudes my own

it is

jarring

images

and sounds

they

startle

throw me off balance

cannot compute
