Passed Away

When emotions move deeply
friends later passed away peacefully,  
the darkness of grief we all share 
I know that death is hard to bear.

Peace will come on a brighter day
Most comforting in every way 
When death separates us 
Memories remain with me always.

We only say goodbye to the body 
But the spirit is like a butterfly 
Metamorphosis free from pain 
It leaves a gentle fragrance in the wind.

When the rain falls, the flowers bloom
And fresh challenges catch our attention.
