The Past

even through the bad our relationship has stood tall

and your still the one that would catch me if i fall

you have always had a good heart

but our outlooks in life were just to far apart

i wish we could have made this last

but all of that is now in the past

im having a hard time letting go of what we had

but its time to see what i have now, and be glad

this will make us stronger

and we will have a friendship that will last longer

but you not speaking to me was my biggest fear

so thank you for still being here
