The Past

The Past

The past is rewritten every day.
Polished and fine tuned.

How good my life will seem
a hundred years from now.

What was grey, will be made
black and white.

Thank you Tina. It was a combination of the fact that things you are taught as "The Truth" one minute, are constantly revised or changed altogether the next. Mixed with the old standard of "People in the X years had it so much easier, than we do now (The good old days)."

Loved this Rob, really clever.  Sometimes you don't need many words to compose a great piece.  A profound little gem.  Great write.  A big vote from me too, congrats on your nomination, well deserved:)

Thank you very much Rachel. I'm glad you liked it.

It was something I had scribbled down, and it stuck with me. I was going to add more to it, but then I figured I would leave it as is.

great poem so true. If history were written by the ordinary people we would live in an extraodinary world.
