Poem -

Past Reflections

Maybe my sadness wasn't only you

Somehow you were just caught in the brew

A storm dark and strong, growing within

Only waiting for a trigger pulled to begin

You came and you went and it was you that I blamed

But my body, my mind, it was me who was shamed

You left but behind the pain had remained

The wounds still open but without the blade

No matter how much I think, it will never make sense

I should just move on and leave it in past tense
