I understand why you wanted me to read this poem. I like how it's sorta like a response to my poem, telling me how everything I said in my poem, kit plays a necessary part in making me who I amtoday. So thank you for bringing me to this poem, it's a great write and I'm glad I got to read it.

Tony!  Yes the path leads to the cross…we learn by what we suffer so that we can help others.  You know suffering with others teaches you.  I used to visit the incarcerated in many of the correctional centers in Illinois with a ministry I belonged to…women who killed their husbands, committed fraud to feed their children and women who sold drugs.  Also taught journaling and poetry to ladies in halfway houses.  I experienced more disappointments then victories…but oh…the victories some of these women achieved!  New jobs, getting there children back from foster homes, getting their high school or college diplomas.  Victory is sweet! I was able to help because my affliction was drug addiction.  I made some bad choices and had to walk the path I started to the end of it.  Great write!
