Peace of mind ❤️

Peace of mind ❤️

She knows where she is going but she doesn’t know when

And she thinks about this place every now and again

What will it be like?well she hasn’t got a clue

Someday she will find out, but she will not tell you

Living her life plodding on each and every day,  in her usual fashion

Making the most of every little minute she can muster, with her will and passion

But everything is okay, until the day she won’t be here.. when she receives that call

Coz no matter what she is doing, she shall have to leave it all

Now whilst she fully understands her situation

We are all just on earth for a limited duration

Tho some have longer than others, this is like the luck of the draw

i.e. whichever of us is lucky enough to pick the long and short straw

It is a game of russian roulette as one holds that gun

Trying not to pull the trigger in our hit-and-run

Dodging all one’s obstacles along the way

Yet journeys end is inevitable come what may

On her incredible, interesting direction of uncertainty

This little lady travels to new destinations, soaking learned knowledge thirstily

And for her own curiousty, she learns exciting new cultures in so many beautiful countries

Spoke languages and different foods, as she embraces their tasty recipes

So takes home her souvenier goods, travelling the globe with so many exciting pathways

Whenever she gets the chance to go away on her annual holidays

She knows full well that life is for living

She intends to fulfill her dreams without any misgiving

Without no repentance nor regrets

Within her timelessness memories of bygone forgets

Happiness is there for her to find

And she shall end her days with this peace of mind…

Well all I can say is that I think it’s a good idea to leave your phone in the other room so you can sleep so you’re not up all night writeing Poetry sleep is more important I don’t have my phone by my bedside it’s in the other room at night I can’t hear it and I don’t wanna hear it
