A Peaceful Soul

A Peaceful Soul

A peaceful soul is hard to find
The ones to whom the world is blind
For screaming, shouting still is used
By those who know they'll be excused

And all can watch as life unfolds
Once more amidst the common colds
This time of year brings many things new
For all can now their lives review

Slow down and see the rush is lost
For even winning has its cost
The only way to find some joy
Is letting truth your fears destroy

The busy, plotting, cunning minds
Are out there planting many finds
But faithful searching for your goal
Will lead you to that peaceful soul
