Poem -

peekaboo mountains remain.

Who now shall tell me about the morning light
The way it hides behind the mountains
Those my heart so longs to see
Reaching out in the darkest of hours
of my reality,
through an inbox world of poetry

only thee,

who now shall tell me about the morning dew
the stillness of the breeze,

who now when all is troubling
My weary mind shall make it cease,

only thee,

Today my friend you walk the light
travel the unknown to me , up ahead

Today my friend you leave your body
freely now your soul,

never truly dead,

only thee my friend

only thee,

could express in depths of colour
Those mountains I long to see,

only thee my friend
Could darkness mend,

shining light on those nights awake
with the light you described
awakening the day

Today my friend,

Today

your soul is free to fly away

again my friend

someday soon, we shall meet again
until then dear Michael

your heart in words forever remain.

rest peaceful now my friend
Always alive in me,
nardine xo ❤

Death it is a door that opens and another door that closes, and between both doors is the essence of those who one day were with us and who today are no longer, but in a light, a sound or a shadow imposed their presence.

A sense poem dedicated to that friend that one day accidentally left our side and released from the barriers of time and space we expected to show us the traffic of the darkness and into the light.

A hug and congratulations on poetry, Michael despite the calamity is a lucky to have a friend who remembers it and longs for his life, even after his death.
