I put myself in your shoes, walked around in the streets as you 
I wanted to see from all perspectives, not just mine 
Tell me how you are so kind, show me why your thoughts would die 

trying to keep my eyes open to this world 
someone help me catch my breath 
steal me if that's what it takes 
someone please rest for me
