Perfect Church
"Perfect Church"
I want to find the perfect church,
One that lives up to my standards,
With the perfect songs to sing,
A sermon like no other.
With movement of my soul,
The Spirit inside that trembles,
Radiating God's light,
An honor to Him like no other.
If all believers could be perfect,
Just like I am in God's eyes,
It would be so awesome to go,
The place I would hope to find.
I guess until that moment,
I will sit and write these poems,
Wishing for something not found,
But maybe one day will see on Earth.

Hey DENISE!!.... this is such a lovely poem and brought to mind something that Cherie and I discuss often......" Where two or three or three are gathered in my name, I am with them." {MATTHEW chapter: 18}......so we decided to begin a Saturday worship in our home. We haven't begun it yet but it's in our conversations a lot these days. The perfect church is SO hard to find. I LOVE what you've created here sweet poetess!!......ALL STARS!!...... I would LOVE to find a home church myself! I encourage you to do this. I'm sure there are many more believers dying to get away from religion and just worship in spirit and truth. God bless you! Praying I will soon find a place to worship....
