Poem -

perfect imperfection

she stares blankly at herself
zooming into every detail
taking herself apart
she's glares upon her cheek
looking at a deep scare
wondering if it will ever fade away
then looks at her big crooked nose
thinking about getting it fixed
moving down staring at nothing but a flat platform
her knees hit the floor
tears fill up her eyes
coming down without hesitation
she looks at a picture of a girl she wants to be

a girl with a cute nose
great complexion
curvy body
everything she wish she had
she tells herself she will one day be just like her

as she saves up for all the damages she will soon do
will she then be happy or will she find more things to destroy

That last line is absolutely devastating. Fantastic piece.
