Perfection

...................our efforts for perfection can only be attained in yonder heaven.....................................

Perfection

Does a conduit open    after trials have purged us?
What is perfection this commandment we're given?
Love and a   charitable heart surely a must!
Is it a goal only attained in yonder   heaven?

Emulating   one trait   at a time is a start,
Reversing the effects of Adam, Eve and the   fall.
Remembering the gratitude I felt in my heart!
Great love for"The Example," "The Savior" of all!

Give away my   sins,  then add Godly sorrow.
Share my testimony and spiritual FiGhT!
Seeing my family progressing    tomorrow!
All truth coalescing together in sight.

Yes; in heaven,    after choosing the right.
The answer; perpetual expansion of   L I G H T !

Jim "The Lad" ....

To the reader! please don't think I believe I am anywhere near perfect! far from it! my intent for this poem was exploring the commandment, and the epiphany I received while pondering! We all are sent here with many imperfections and given " grace" or a period of time to try and improve, the Savior will help the left work if we just do our best!
