Perhaps Today

Perhaps Today

Perhaps today your chance will come
The game has changed, a lot for some
Each day is new and all must search
Who knows where fate's great wheel may lurch?

Don't think you won't amount to much
Keep open channels, stay in touch
The mind is deep and no-one's sure
Just what tomorrow has in store

Look forwards into where we're bound
A brand new song, a relic found
Surprises come to those who look
Don't disregard that dusty book

For hidden where you may not guess
Are answers that will guide and bless
In seeking more you'll find the way
Then joy comes quickly - perhaps today
