This is a very deep and sobering poetry, Valerie....with so much implication pouring out of it; from a personal point of view it takes me so many places; I do believe that we (carnal self) must die and be born again (spiritually) in Christ, to know life eternal....and Shakespeare (Hamlet) calls death the country from which no traveller has returned; so the concept of any immediate gratification springing from the afterlife is still way too full of conjecture for me to get keen about.... I don't always like what this life dishes out at times, but I can't advocate death as any kind of alternative, my friend; it is a deep sobering thought though, Val...., in art death is a popular subject, and I like how you take a stance here, much respect....I adore your poetic gifts and it matters not if you say water is blood or blood is water; your words always resonate with honesty and beauty; displaying the vision of a true artist full of integrity....powerful stuff, my friend, very powerful

Hi CO! It's a bit difficult to explain...but I felt inspired by you and you gave me the courage to share the experience I am currently going through...it is called I Wish For A Cure. I also wrote one that I have not posted yet. I was unable to write for quite sometime until now and I want to thank you for that.
