Pests

circulating in circles that fancy fan above my bed over my head.
thinning the room cool. An opening window brings a breeze.
Blowing lace curtains which way it seems.
I'm too comfortable, cross my legs, hands on my head, resting away. Silence......I hear nature outside my thin walls.
In comes a pest.
the wasp wants to nest.
To my surprise, a damn horse fly.
Buzzed pass my eyes.
Too loud.
Too clear.
I don't want that fly near.
I know it knows everything in the room.
He zoomed before his doom.
To the ceiling, out my way.
I got to shoo that pest to get my rest.
Gees, I can't kill a fly, too old and too slow.
Out the window, he went, Buzzing away.
