PEYTON PLACE

PEYTON PLACE

Tonight I watched a slice of movie heavenĀ
A film that was first released in 1957Ā
Sex, murder, incest, betrayal this film had the lot
The storylines were without doubt extremely hotĀ

It's a movie I would watch time and time again
There was even a TV series made but I don't whenĀ
The star of the film for me was Lana TurnerĀ
She put all the other actors to the back burnerĀ

So if you haven't guessed I'm referring to Peyton PlaceĀ
A film so sad I finished with tears rolling down my face

My Dear Kieran,

A very lovely write about this classic movie and book.

The TV series, came on in 64
For me, it was Mia Farrow that I adored
But then she cut her long blonde hair
And my passion was no longer there

Love,
Larry xxx
