Photographs And Memories

These photographs and memories, are all that I have left;

For your soul floated back up to Heaven, and left me so bereft!

But before you went, we made a copy, and that’s the one we’d steal;

Your real one stayed right here in me, your love, then I could feel!

Now I don’t need these photographs before me, to see what is the real thing;

For deep down in my devoted soul, such happiness you bring!

You’ve gifted me with memories, photographic in their state;

Any page of life I choose to read, I can relive with my dear soulmate!

Then when it’s time for me to join you, in the firmaments above;

Our two souls will be reunited, eternally in love!

We’ll traverse the stars and galaxies, bound forever each other’s side;

And then until the end of time, through paradise we’ll ride!
