In Picasso’s Café

Come Wednesday night
To see what I see
In Picasso’s Cafe
In my secret place.
This is where I go on Wednesdays
This is where I hide,
To forget , to discover a different world.
The Ladies of Avignon any time they look at me
I get dizzy
Because I search for their eyes,
I search for their nose
and I can’t see their mouth.
In Picasso’s Cafe ,
there are all young people,
With lots of smiles,
With lots of noise
they paint my soul,
with beautiful colors.
In Picasso’s Cafe,
I see their hands,
I see their legs,
But I can’t see their heads,
The Ladies of Avignon,
dancing naked
and they make me believe,
I am their lover,
I am their Man.
In Picasso’s Cafe,
when you come looking for me,
don’t search,
Because you are not going to find me,
I am only there to hide …
… to hide from you !

Wow Nikos, this is my favorite piece of yours so far...this is highly creative, the way you place "The Ladies of Avignon" perfectly throughout.........I'm assuming that is a Picasso painting on the wall.......a dreamlike feel to this.....it's great my friend..............really lovely read.........tony:)
Thank you Tony !
