Poem -
PINK RIBBON
Pink is the ribbon we should wear
In tribute, to the fight against despair
Never forgetting those we have lost
Keep in mind, the tragic cost.
..............................................
Remembering the battle can be won
In the hearts and minds of every one
Be prepared to conquer every fear
Be resolute, hold on, to what is dear
One day, this disease will be in the past
No more cancer, we'll have seen its last !

Good job Richard, you do well with articulating your thoughts and managing to make each line of your poetry rhyme. How do you accomplish that!
Thanks for your comment . I don't recall whrn I started writing in this way but I have a struggle on some words trying to come up with a rhyming next line but it is about listening to the sounds of words ! I enjoy the challenge !
