pirates of the Caribbean

they were made and put up then.
to celebrate.
Horrendous things these men accomplished. 

slave trading pirates and thieves.
that did not want slavery abolished.

I wasn't taught that growing up in school.
just finding out about it now.

Bring some rope!

heave ho heave ho!
let's pull all those statues down!
