Pity Thyself

New York Is Just Fine

Pity Thyself

This New Yorker shall not babble,
nor mince words with subtlety.
To those made blind by a faith so bright,
it has shaken their might to see...

That all He has ever asked of us
is to love unconditionally.

To never stumble in His greatest commandment.
To leave casting judgement to Him.
For we are only human after all,
And all equally bound by sin.

But it is He that has allowed this sin to be,
for to be more human is to live freely.
So in will...in spirit...and in life I decree...

I am proud to be from NYC,
And from where the mighty towers once stood.
And to have lived in a place so utterly free,
that it can only be His beacon for good.

This was in response to some (in my humble opinion) narrow minded words shared by another on Cosmo.

Normally I would let it go, but what can I say...I love my home.  :)

The fish of the sea

Yeah, John please don`t be disheartened, Cosmos, though our home is still the internet. Sometimes, I too confront Carl and ask for the scriptures he talks about... he never replies to my comments. I really enjoyed this poem though, full respects to you

Really enjoyed this write. The fish of the sea is right, the site is full of many different opinions, I confess I am not sure what this Is in regards to but always be proud of where you come from.
