Poem -

plans + then some

was the fault of the moon for
she didn't like day
also, neither did i
so just kill it, i'd say
we had spent many years
hatching plans and then some
but murder is hard when a killed
off thing runs...

away to tomorrows
to rebirth from sky
and again, and again,
day would not stop and die.

at first, I found this a bit tricky to get my tongue around and read it so many times that now, I could probably recite it backwards down a coal mine in the dark with my balaclava turned backwards .. x
