to recharge  your epidermis

blood platelets congregating
like bhakti devotees
 
about to enact a vital performance
 
Stretch the arch of each sole
like London bridge
 
to let the sailboats pass
with the cargo of yesterday
 
then close them like the drooping arms of Moses
 
leaving all your cares to drown with Pharaoh's army
 
You are grounded
on the right side of history
 
Though trials have buffered your tower
