Poem -

PLASTIC BAG IN HEAD

today I was awake
tomorrow I will be awake
yesterday I slept
last month I was awake
in my life, I have always slept
yet again awake

my proving in step
clumsy yet eager voices
whispering vacant space
disturbed in photo

today I will sleep
but will stay awake
dimensions tell many truths
each one the lie

my mother slept
my father stood awake
yet they both slept

this thing that calms my escape
holds each travelled date
each sceptic ability thrash's in crawling conjure

YES TODAY IM AWAKE
YES TODAY I SLEEP
