Poem -

A plea for rain

A plea for rain

For whom are you
When you walk by the river
Counting the steps of your ancestors
Crying into the sun

By these days
You toil in the pastures
Reaping the harvest
Thy work is done

So the God of antiquity
Has beckoned you to be
To be by his side
This day the light has shone

When nights falls
The first star befits all
That you look into the heavens
By God's grace your time become

O Lord King of the Universe
That thy shalt bring healing
Upon this land
Where the drought has come

Hello Jai...

Where moisture is needed...

and within the abundance of flooding...

Wildfires and firefighters in need of serious help...

Fighting the elements of too much wind and much needed peace...

Where is there is chaos...

And in praying for a balance in the Earth...

Where two or more agree on any one thing...

I am with you friend...

Great Write!

Thank you for sharing...

Hugs...
