Please dear Lord 🙏

Please dear Lord 🙏

Please dear Lord 🙏

When the darkness fills our senses will we tumble and fall?

And that gloomy sky is closing down on humanity like a humongous, high brick wall

As we kneel to pray before thee will you listen to our call?

Alas our dear Lord God almighty there are moments when I wonder if you are there at all..

Current callous cloudiness has captivated one’s soul

Though we try to live each and every day achieving our goal

Without any words of warning our world goes awol

And we hide ourselves below beneath a harbouring hole..

Please dear Lord, switch the light on amidst those heavenly skies

As we search to seek salvation from an evermore demise

Grant us all your Mother nature’s supremacy from the crack of dawn’s sunrise

Healing one’s hurtfulness as teardrops drip from our eyes...

I really like this. I'm feeling the "current callous cloudiness" and I loved the last line. I've cried so much lately going through my own healing process. Nice write and thank you.
