Please Dont Cry Mum
I know when you look that you can’t see me,
But my beautiful mum you will always be,
I’m still here and I hold your hand at night,
And I look down on you from a great height.
I didn’t want to leave but god takes the best,
And Mum I know he has put you to the test,
He made me an angel and gave me wings to fly,
I’m in a beautiful place so please don’t cry.
Every day please know that I’m near,
And in your heart I know I’m held dear,
My daddy will take care of you when you are sad,
In him I trust that’s why I made him my dad.
I’m always with you when you speak I hear,
Please give me a smile instead of a tear,
All that is left for me to do,
Is to tell you Mum that I love you. ❤️

There's nothing that saddens me more than the death of an innocent child, Samantha.
This was such a poignantly penned poem—a melancholic musing, for certain.
Keep those creative lights a' burnin'.

I gave it 5* x
I really like this poem, wonderful insight from a different point of view.
A nice rythm to it as well, I can imagine a lot of mother's shedding a tear over it.
Very well done.
