PLEASE DON'T DIE

PLEASE DON'T DIE

He went to the hospital every day
He prayed to God there would be another way
When he saw his best friend lying in that bed
Knowing tomorrow that he would soon be dead

This illness is a silent assassin and will claim another life
It can happen to anyone husband, father, friend or wife
He cannot offer an explanation nor reason why
Why rapists should live and loved ones should die

The lovely memories he will take from his mate
Will help him get through his emotional state
