PLEASE OFFER ME A SEAT

On her badge it said please offer me a seatĀ
I'm guessing she is not good on her feetĀ
On those London tubes you have to be fit
That's why her badge said that she has to sit

Who gives up their seat is interesting to see
No one bothers so it is just down to me
She thanks me with a lovely smileĀ
This hasn't happened for a long whileĀ

I get off five stops later at busy Kings Cross
Shaking my head that nobody gives a toss
The lady needing a seat goes about her day
Grateful I'm not in her position I have to say
