Poem -

please sir, i'm just a minor

i have learned through intense perseverance you are no longer good for me
out grown the skin our bodies conjoined
i can’t live in a past time we no longer enjoy
a man-child, I’ve complied all the qualities that do not align
you were what I needed at the tender age of eighteen
i carried you through, we were always on theme
a minor left turn left us out to burn
sunny days no longer happy days
a desperation to find a consolation
a castration from you saved meĀ
