Their name, their years, revealed by the titular muse
These pleasing yet anxious beings, injecting inspiration
The place of otherworldly confetti and crepe suzettes
Where "almost annoying" begs further consideration

When your mind and your thoughts are set ablaze
Dare to dance around your poetic themes and phrases
For in your way, poetic angels do help to convey
That which is already deep inside you to say

On some fond breast, there's a comfort on which to rely
Some pious drops of clarity, sprinkled into creative mind
Like dreaming is to the dreamer ~ unfathomable surprise
As if by chance, the authors words are sweet compromise

Those playful poetic angels, quench the blush of genius
When the Taj Mahal appears to the poets minds eye
Incorporated, and yet unrecognized, as the ink hits the page
Then, in reading one's own work, to the face it brings a knowing
Smile.....
