Poetry's Magic Power

Poetry's Magic Power

Poetry's a devoted enchanter, a magician,
A true alchemist and a gifted musician.
It can conjure up images which mesmerise,
Make us all happy with a dazzling surprise.

It can make the old feel very forever young,
And poor peoples plight never left unsung.
Reveal new lovers sharing a passionate fire,
Even about people we so respect and admire.

It can demonstrate love in many differing ways,
Can leave us all captivated and totally amazed.
The highest mountain peaked with a tiny flower,
All just a few attractions of poetry's magic power.

Being Me

Poetry is just truly gorgeous...even the sad poems. And it is so diverse. I fall in love with the way lines are crafted. I lose myself in the pictures they create. A good poem nourishes my soul x
