Polaroid hangover...

Polaroid hangover...

Staring into my polaroid hangover
I'm ashamed that we weren't closer
I want to set these pictures on fire
You were a living full proof liar
This is my polaroid hangover
My polaroid hangover

We were both dreamers but we were each other's cravens
We were doomed by people but they are tragic demons
You're a delicate fuse with an animalistic attitude
I separated the good and evil that poisoned me and you

We were gonna runaway together I even had a picture full of colour
When we woke we spoke about travelling the globe all alone
We were gonna grow old with pets and our kids living so close
Now the picture is black and white and replaced by another woman

We were in over our head even the crazy lady said our relationship was dead
"I give you this stone as a gift and it resembles talking to each other"
The nightmares keep me awake like a bullet to the head
I'd rather be my own to think freely and not worry what's been said

Staring into my polaroid hangover
I'm ashamed that we weren't closer
I want to set these pictures on fire
You were a living full proof liar
This is my polaroid hangover
My polaroid hangover
Set these memories on fire!
