Poor little soul

Poor little soul

“Grandma I can’t go out to see my friends today we are not allowed to play”
So I sit typing back to her and I think before I say
“Aww my little one of course you can go out but just into your garden where there’s no nasty germs about”

“But Grandma I was invited by my best friend she asked me to sleep over”
“Aww I know my Chickadee” tho she understands God love her
I am talking on a video call to my youngest Grandchild and as she shows me her homework from school we both smiled

Poor little soul she is only nine
She know’s very well that all is not fine
Isn’t it sad when a little child cannot play happily with other’s on a nice springtime sunny day
But then again this is a first for me
I’ve seen nothing like this and I am sixty
