POOR MAN'S ALLOTMENT

The poor man's allotment doesn't grow peas
Potatoes and cabbages are riddled with disease
Carrots are non existant they aren't there too
The beans have done a runner what must he do

The poor man's allotment no vegetables grow
Scratching his head and wonders why this is so
The soil on the ground is the same as next door
So why this should be he doesn't know for sure

Then one afternoon after such a very long dig
The poor man saw something and started to jig
A fox and family had taken home on his land
Must be the reason no vegetables are planned
